The Arena de São Paulo will host the opening game in which Brazil plays Croatia. The Arena is home of the Corinthians Paulista sports club which is why it is also called Arena Corinthians. The stadium was planned as an architectural highlight of the São Paulo metropolis. It is open on two sides and is equipped with a 120 x 7.5 m video screen on the outer wall.
