The message was clear: The TROX focus at the ISH/Aircontec 2015 was not only on components and units but also on complete system solutions for each type of building. To allow visitors to not only see, but actually experience what we are committed to, the TROX booth was divided into four sections: Comfort Air Conditioning System, Smoke Extract System, Demand-controlled Residential Ventilation Systems and Decentralised Ventilation Systems. Visitors to the booth were able to learn how components and units that are perfectly complementary to each other can be combined with a precise control system to form an intelligent, interconnected overall system that ensures comfort, safety and energy efficiency.

'The reactions from the many visitors were impressive and proved that our one-stop shop strategy is on target and exactly meets the requirements of the market. Our display of both innovative and enhanced products underlined once again our commitment to being the technology leader in the ventilation and air conditioning industry. This was confirmed in many intensive discussions with both existing and potential customers,' said TROX CEO Michael Bauer shortly after the doors to the ISH closed for this year.

In particular the new overall control system was a dazzling display of innovations. Innovative solutions included X-CUBE CONTROL, the measurement and control system for the X-CUBE air handling units, the X-AIRCONTROL room and zone control system, and TROXNETCOM, the proven solution for fire protection and smoke extract systems. In other words: TROX products control and monitor entire ventilation and air conditioning systems for small and midrange applications – with or without integration into the central BMS.

Other highlights included the high-efficiency run around coil system for hygienically critical areas, the multifunctional duct smoke detector RM-O-M with integral airflow and contamination monitoring, the smoke control damper EK-EU, that meets the highest requirements and has been CE-certified for use across Europe, and the new axial fire gas roof fan BV AX of Type DAX. All products, whether individually or in combination with others, set new standards in fire and smoke protection. Also on display were the new 'invisible' ceiling swirl diffuser RFD, which is concealed by a finely perforated front plate, the new under floor ventilation unit FSL-U-ZAS, the next generation of Type EN VAV terminal units with innovative NFC (near field communication) function and TROX FlowCheck app, and optimised air-water systems, such as the DID642, which are extra slim and hence ideally suited for integration with existing architectures.

And finally, new developments for residential ventilation were shown by example of a detached house and a block of flats.

At the 700 m² TROX booth in Hall 11.0, more visitors than ever before, both from Germany and other countries, could experience THE ENTIRE WORLD OF AIR CONDITIONING.
