Football in Brazil:

… and TROX is once again right in the middle of things!

Kick-off is on 12  June 2014, and the whole world will be watching the opening match in football crazy Brazil. 600,000 foreign visitors are expected to attend the upcoming matches. Needless to say that such high numbers of spectators also require high safety standards as well as high standards for ventilation and air conditioning which is why sports stadiums and multi-functional arenas are considered particularly challenging building projects.   

And TROX is right there ... in the stadiums. As 2010 in South Africa and 2012 in Poland and the Ukraine, TROX is present in eleven out of twelve stadiums. The entire product portfolio has been installed in the Brazil stadiums to ensure the safety of, and provide comfort for, teams and spectators alike. 

The products that have been installed by TROX do Brasil include air terminal units, such as swirl, ceiling and slot diffusers, ventilation grilles, and fire dampers and multileaf dampers. Fan coil units, control units and external weather louvres also make sure that the players from 32 countries and of course their fans will be able to concentrate on each of the 64 matches.

Just one year later a production centre was opened in Curitiba.
