TROX bundles its service activities

TROX GmbH and the new TROX HGI GmbH have agreed on an operative and strategic service cooperation. On an organisational level, on 1 September 2017 TROX GmbH will as a first step transfer all of its service activities to a new business, TROX Service GmbH. The medium-term goal is to have all service activities of TROX Service GmbH managed by the new TROX HGI GmbH.

This is TROX's response to the increasing demand from customers for ancillary services in addition to systems. The interconnected and integrated TROX systems LABCONTROL, X-CUBE control (for air handling units), X-AIRCONTROL and TROXNETCOM (for fire protection and smoke extract) require working more closely with customers, and then from the design stage to commissioning. These services plus maintenance and a 24/365 hotline with online support (Remote Operation Centre) are now provided by the new TROX HGI GmbH and TROX Service GmbH joint operation.

Norbert Heger, Managing Director of TROX HGI GmbH, and Michael Buschmann, previously Head of Product Management for Fire Protection and Smoke Extract Systems with TROX GmbH, will be taking on management of TROX Service GmbH.

Service operation will be significantly improved by this pooling of resources, and will be further expanded in future. Existing services remain unchanged, as will the familiar contacts. Two new members expand the team, other changes include the new name TROX Service GmbH and the website: www.trox-service.de.

In the context of the increasing automation of building services, there is a strategic necessity to offer customers dedicated service in addition to systems throughout the product life cycle.
