TROX delivers energy-efficient technology for modern nursing home in France

TROX has provided central air handling units for a new nursing home in Brive-La-Gaillarde, in Southwest France. This new building is an extension of the main building, creating a look of continuity and an eye-catching and coherent urban feel. Due to its distinctive architecture, the project provides a new strong and structured contemporary look at the entrance to the site.

The TROX X-CUBE air handling units installed by the company Coudre made it possible to meet the specification of the nursing home and the specialist consultant Larbre Ingénierie thanks to their high quality of workmanship. The set of high-efficiency motorised EC fans (class IE4) mean that record levels can be achieved in terms of energy consumption.

The TROX DID-E chilled beam diffusion solution in the bedrooms and the DID632 in the communal areas feature a high level of induction, thereby fulfilling the global energy consumption criteria of the site. The DID-E beams are equipped with a complete extract air system at the factory (plenum, removable grill) which means that they meet the planning requirements of the site. Nothing has been left to chance: the VFL regulators, which function when more than 30 pa of pressure is present, make it possible to reduce the operating pressure of the handling units for consistently improved savings on the operating costs.
