TROX takes over Czech TECH-TRADE s. r. o.

With effect from 23rd September 2020, TROX GmbH acquired the Czech company TECH-TRADE s.r.o.

TECH-TRADE is a metal-processing company based in Hodonin (near Brünn), has a state-of-the-art fleet of machinery and has been a cooperation partner of TROX GmbH for several years. Its main driver of sales are ducts, tubes and moulded parts for residential ventilation; for TROX GmbH it is primarily producing circular silencers and plenum boxes.

With a workforce of around 120 employees, TECH-TRADE generates revenues of Euro 7 million each year. Udo Jung, Managing Director of Sales, Technology and Production at TROX GmbH explains: "The acquisition of TECH-TRADE complements our production network in Europe. The company has always placed great emphasis on high quality in production, the product, and its customer service, and is thus a perfect fit for TROX."

Thomas Mosbacher, Managing Director of Finance, HR, IT at TROX GmbH adds: "The TROX GROUP can now sell standard components at competitive prices in the East and Southeast European markets and thus grow in these markets. In the year 2020 alone, we gained a third production site in addition to Morocco and Egypt, which means we now have over 19 production sites around the world. This will give us strategic advantages."

The integration of the new subsidiary company will mainly be overseen by Karl Palmstorfer, Managing Director of TROX Austria GmbH.
