Research and Development

Our extensive research and development activities serve to create innovative solutions in all areas of ventilation, safety and air conditioning technology. In addition to development work for the individual product groups, project-related development contracts play a major role.

Development work is carried out in three test centers for various product groups and key topics:

• ICKA: International Center for Air Conditioning and Acoustics / Neukirchen-Vluyn site approx. 1000 m² test area, > 10 laboratories/test facilities

• ICB : International Center for Fire Protection Technology / Neukirchen-Vluyn site approx. 650 m² test area, 2 test facilities
• ICVA : International Center Fans and Aerodynamics / Bad Hersfeld site approx. 1000 m² test area, 7 test facilities

The main activities of Research & Development are as follows:

• Development of new products, techniques and technologies

• Optimization of existing products
• Project-related tests, catalog documents, presentations and publications
• Customer advice and information

All tests are carried out in accordance with relevant national and international measurement regulations.
